Terms & FAQ  Things you should or may want to know.

{ Terms - Dolls }

  1. Do not claim my dolls or graphics as your own. I'll find out eventually, and nasty emails will follow.
  2. You may not use any of my dolls for purposes other than adopting. Do not use parts of my dolls to create your own. Do not use them in your layouts or other graphics. Do not enter them in contests.
  3. Do not direct/hot link any of my images. Upload any adoptions to your own host please.

{ Terms - Bases }

  1. Credit CCG and link back. It doesn't matter where you credit me (on the page of the doll is best, though), just credit CCG and link back to http://ccg.portmanteaux.org. No variations of that address, please!
  2. Do not redistribute my bases. Do not claim them as yours. This includes any edited versions of my bases. This also means you cannot use them to hold base edit contests.
  3. You can edit anything and everything. I encourage you to reshade my bases and redraw faces so that they match your style and also to change limbs to create new poses, to allow the doll to hold props, etc! However, so long as you first started with my base, you must credit me with a link back.
  4. Do not use my bases for commercial use. Do not use my bases to gain financial profit. I have no problems with you 'selling' dolls on my bases in exchange for fake currency on forums/other online communities such as Gaia, Eden Enchanted, etc.

{ FAQ }

  1. How long have you been dolling? I started making "hand-drawn" dolls mid-September, 2001. Luckily, I never actually went through the whole Palace or drag n' drop phase most of the other veteran dollers went through. 8D
  2. How old is CCG then? CCG (then Cherriez Minis) opened on October 8th, 2001.
  3. What a beautiful view? Version 20 is a lot different than what it was supposed to be. Actually, you can only see about 1/4 of the original layout doll! The name came to mind, because I was listening to Death Cab for Cutie too much, but it was not originally inspired by it... I just thought it was a fitting title. 8D
  4. What program do you use to doll? I've used MSPaint since my first doll. I've only made two tool-shaded dolls to this day, but I blame Papaya for that. 8D; I also use a Wacom Graphire4. Tablet ftw!
  5. Is your name Cherrie? No, stop calling me that. It's not my real name, or an alias for that matter.
  6. Do you have a dollmaker? Yes. 8D
